           Polar bears live in very cold regions - ice and snow. They have a very thick coat of fur. It not only insulates but also keeps them dry. Under the fur, the polar bear has black skin that helps absorb the heat better.

           They prey on seals. They have a very powerful nose with which they can smell a seal which is 20 miles away. When the temperature drops, they hibernate in their den.
