Sayings & Quotes

All that glitters is not gold.

What does it mean?
Sometimes when we first look at some thing, we might feel that it is very valuable, but as we really start using it, we might find that it is worthless.

For example, you see a pencil with your favorite character on it. You buy it by paying more than what you would have paid for an ordinary pencil. The next day you take it to school and show all your friends. You try to sharpen the pencil, but you find out that the lead just keeps breaking. Now, you see that the pencil was not worth the money or all your excitement just vanished.

When you look at anything or anyone, don’t judge them by their looks or the first encounter. Always think practically and make use of your resources wisely.
