Unlike Denominators: Simplest Form

1. If the fractions have different denominators,

a) Find the least common multiple of the denominators.

b) Multiply the numerator and denominator with the multiple that would make its denominator equal to the least common denominator. Now, both fractions have the same denominator.

2. If the fractions have the same denominators,

a) Add the numerators and keep the denominator the same.

3. Reduce the answer to its lowest terms and click the answer.
